About Us
When you need hardware supplies, your only choice should be The Merc. Since 1978, we have been the area's one-stop shop for general hardware, lawn care supplies, livestock feed, and more. Our shop is conveniently located in the southwest corner of New Mexico, near the Arizona-Mexico border, in Animas.
As a locally owned business, we support the local community. We are proud supporters of the local FFA and 4-H Clubs, and every year, we buy livestock at their fairs and donate a bucket of show supplies to each of the participants. In addition, we proudly support Animas Public Schools' sports programs, including the New Mexico BASS Masters fishing team.
